ABORT MISSION

ABORT MISSION stemmed from a chance encounter with some religious anti-abortionists, who stood outside a local clinic in Cardiff. This compelled me to create a project surrounding the juxtaposition of how much society sexualises marginalised genders bodies in vast contrast to how we protect their physical health. It integrates ideas surrounding the Catholic Church, as well as the advertisement of Gentlemen’s Clubs, violence towards and the objectification of marginalised genders. This project subtly questions the moral debate that surrounds marginalised genders physical health and well-being.

The right to have an abortion is one that should not be up for debate. If a person needs access to an abortion they should be able to do so safely and without judgement.
